New website for Bottletop

To celebrate our upcoming fifth birthday we thought it was time for a revamp of the Bottletop website. This has taken rather longer than expected as we have had to keep stopping to do 'proper' work, as you will see from the further news below. The website now reflects a better cross-section of the many areas in which we work, contains case histories of all the projects and is easy to navigate. We hope you like it.

Ten Moving Stories

Ten Moving Stories is a video produced as part of the training resources within The UCH Education Centre. Filmed at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital, the video focuses on management structure and the reaction of staff to radical change to enable learning by review. The DVD features interviews with project leaders, senior clinicians and administrative staff and is to form the backbone of a training course pack.

The UCH Education Centre Showreel

Bottletop has delivered a showreel DVD explaining the purpose of, and the facilities within, The Education Centre at University College Hospital. During a two day shoot in London Bottletop filmed all the facilities within the centre including the Minimal Access Surgery Unit . The DVD will be sent to all prospective delegates, students or trainees and also appears on the website.

The UCH Education Centre

This week the website for The Education Centre at University College Hospital has gone live. Designed and built by Bottletop, the website is a showcase for the centre which is the UK's most advanced medical training and teaching facility. Bottletop was commissioned to deliver both the showcase website and also a database driven website for internal use, dealing with clinical statistics, to be used as an analytical tool. The website features a fly-through animation to help explain the facilities within The Education Centre.

CITV Easter Promotion

It's the Sick Chicks versus the Hot Cross Bunnies in the battle for possession of the legendary Beaster Egg on Beaster Island - another Bottletop promotion for children's channel CITV. Bottletop developed and drew the characters (with pencils!) and animated them in After Effects. The idents are used to top and tail stop frame animatics produced in-house at CITV in Manchester. The promotions were transmitted before and during the Easter holiday period.

Morgan

Bottletop were asked by BBTV to create a 3D, animated version of the famous Morgan logo to be used as a sting within a film celebrating the first 100 years of the famous British car company.
