Gardening Leave at The Royal Hospital, Chelsea

Yesterday we were filming at The Royal Hospital in Chelsea, the home of the Chelsea Pensioners. The occasion was the opening of Gardening Leave's latest walled garden- the third in the UK. Gardening Leave is a charity dedicated to providing horticultural therapy for ex-military personnel to aid mental well-being and physical fitness.

Bottletop is producing a video which will explain the work of the charity to potential funders and sponsors as well as to raise awareness amongst veterans who may benefit from Gardening Leave's activities and facilities. Ben Fogle was on hand to declare the garden open and to plant a commemorative tree.

Filming will continue at the Auchincruive garden near Ayr in May. To find out more about Gardening Leave click here.
